从武英殿修书之处到建制机构武英殿修书处--武英殿修书处的运作时间与机构正式成立时间探讨

摘　　要：清代内府刻书机构武英殿修书处的成立时间,学界有多种说法,其中武英殿修书处成立于康熙十九年(1680)、雍正七年(1729)武英殿造办处“改为”武英殿修书处这两种观点有清代官方文献依据。但这两种观点均有可商榷之处。康熙年间,“修书处”并不特指武英殿修书处,而是泛指“修书之处”,因此,康熙十九年武英殿修书处“成立”,其含义是武英殿修书处开始运作,而雍正七年铸“武英殿修书处图记”,意味着武英殿修书处作为建制机构正式成立,而不能简单地表述为武英殿造办处“改为”武英殿修书处。There has been an argument in the academic community about the establishment time of the Imperial Printing Office in the Hall of Martial Valor,an office designated by the Imperial Household Department to amend,compile and print books in the Qing dynasty.Among others,the two viewpoints that“the Imperial Printing Office in the Hall of Martial Valor was established in 1680,the 19th year of Emperor Kangxi's reign of the Qing dynasty”and that“the Imperial Workshop in the Hall of Martial Valor was changed to the Imperial Printing Office in the Hall of Martial Valor in 1729 or the seventh year of Emperor Yongzheng's reign of the Qing dynasty”are backed by the official literature of the Qing dynasty.However,the two viewpoints still need further discussion.During the reign of Emperor Kangxi,the book printing office did not refer to the Imperial Printing Office in the Hall of Martial Valor only but places where books were printed in the general sense.Therefore,the“establishment”of the Imperial Printing Office in the Hall of Martial Valor in the 19^(th) year of Kangxi's reign means that the Office started operation in that year;the“Illustrations of the Imperial Printing Office in the Hall of Martial Valor”printed in the seventh year of the reign of Yongzheng Emperor means that the Imperial Printing Office in the Hall of Martial Valor was officially established as a government-sponsored institution,and we cannot take it for granted that the Imperial Workshop in the Hall of Martial Valor was“changed”to the Imperial Printing Office in the Hall of Martial Valor.
