摘 要:2016年1月21日海原-祁连山断裂北侧发生M_(s)6.4地震。诸多学者对其震源特征、孕震机制和发震构造等进行探讨,但仍存争议。该文综合区域构造活动特征、构造转换、地貌发育、历史地震以及现代地震活动性研究进展并进行分析的基础上,探讨门源M_(s)6.4地震的孕震环境特征,结合区域动力学的大尺度特征探讨其新构造运动的意义。研究认为,柴达木-祁连活动地块顺时针旋转以及向SSE方向的挤出是该地震的主要力学背景,海原-祁连山地块向北挤压以及阿拉善块体地块的阻挡是该地区断裂及其邻区强震频发的主要原动力,反映了高原东北缘持续性向北扩展的地球动力学过程。研究结果有助于深入和完善对祁连山地区地震动力学特征和强震活动规律的理解、认识。On January 21,2016,M_(S) 6.4 earthquake occurred on the north side of Haiyuan-Qilian Mountain fault.Many scholars have discussed the source characteristics,seismogenic mechanism and seismogenic structure,but there are still controversies.Based on the analysis of the characteristics of regional tectonic activity,tectonic transformation,geomorphic development,historical earthquakes and modern seismicity,this paper discusses the seismogenic environment characteristics of the Menyuan M_(S) 6.4 earthquake,and discusses the significance of neotectonic movement combined with the large-scale characteristics of regional dynamics.The results show that the main mechanical background of the earthquake is the clockwise rotation of the Qaidam-Qilian active block and the extrusion towards SSE.The northward extrusion of the Haiyuan-Qilian block and the blocking of the Alxa block are the main driving forces for the frequent occurrence of strong earthquakes in the fault and its adjacent areas,which reflects the geodynamic process of the continuous northward extension of the northeastern margin of the plateau.The research results are helpful to understand and perfect the characteristics of seismic dynamics and the law of strong earthquake activity in Qilian mountain area.
