摘  要:间充质干细胞(mesenchymal stem cells,MSCs)具有多向分化潜能和免疫调节能力,且不具伦理争议的特点使其数十年来在基础和临床研究中得到广泛应用。然而,MSCs在形态上并不能和成纤维细胞有所区分。该文对这两种细胞在生物学特性及临床应用方面的异同点和两者可能存在的关系进行了综述。结果表明:这两种细胞在细胞免疫表型、增殖、分化甚至基因表型和免疫调节能力方面几乎完全一样;不同之处在于,MSCs在上述能力上比成纤维细胞表现得更加高效。目前,并没有特异性的标志可以区分这两种细胞,但两者的甲基化谱略有不同,而两者之间的差异类似于不同代数的MSCs之间的区别,某些细胞表面标志物的表达也表现出类似的现象。按照现行的国际细胞治疗学会对MSCs的定义,成纤维细胞甚至也可以被命名为MSCs。因此,两者可能是同一种细胞,只是成纤维细胞是代数比较高的MSCs。MSCs (mesenchymal stem cells) have the abilities of multi-differentiation and immune regulation,which makes them unique in the research of many adult tissue stem cells for decades.However,MSCs cannot be distinguished from fibroblasts in morphology.The similarities and differences between these two kinds of cells and the possible relationship were reviewed in this article.The results showed that the two kinds of cells were almost identical in cell immunophenotype,proliferation,differentiation and even gene phenotype and immune regulation ability.The difference is that MSCs are more efficient than fibroblasts in above-mentioned abilities.Meanwhile,there are no specific markers to distinguish the two kinds of cells,but their methylation profiles are slightly different.Interestingly,some of the differences between them are similar to that of MSCs with different passages,and the expression of some cell surface markers also show similar phenomenon.According to the current definition of MSCs by the International Society of Cell Therapy,fibroblasts can even be named as MSCs.Therefore,they may be the same cells.However,fibroblasts are aging MSCs.
