摘 要:自古以来,淮河流域就是水旱灾害的主要发生地,落后的科技局限了先民应对水旱灾的能力和效果,但又不忍坐视庄稼受损。在此两难境地,转而求助神灵,希望借助神力消除水旱灾害,保护农作物,由此产生了淮河流域水旱灾害的民间信仰。但残酷的现实证明,祈求神灵并不能消除水旱灾害,无法实现人们驱灾保稼的心愿。因此,水旱灾祈禳的民间信仰只是一种期盼和心理安慰,是一种无奈举措。但这种民间信仰民俗却蕴育着先民丰富的生产生活智慧,有着深远的文化启示。Since ancient times, Huaihe Basin has been the main place of flood and drought disasters, backward science and technology limited ancestors’ ability and effects of coping with flood and drought disasters, but they couldn’t sit by idly and watch crops being damaged. In this dilemma, they turned to pray for gods’ help, hoped to eliminate flood and drought disasters with the help of gods, and protected crops, and thus produced folk beliefs of flood and disasters in Huaihe Basin. But cruel reality proved that praying for gods couldn’t eliminate flood and drought disasters, and was unable to achieve people’ wish of getting rid of disasters and protecting crops. So, the folk beliefs of praying for gods to eliminate flood and drought disasters were only one expectation and psychological comfort, and turned out to be a helpless move. But these folk beliefs have ancestors’ full wisdom of production and life, and have far-reaching Cultural inspiration.
