李诚与历史地理学研究

摘　　要：桐城派学者李诚先生,一生致力于教育事业和学术研究。源于内心澎湃的爱国情怀,其史学研究成果主要偏重于历史地理学中的军事地理方面。李诚的历史地理学研究在直接继承桐城派重视史料的搜集考据及清末史地学家经世致用的治史特点的基础上,融合了马克思主义史学方法,最终形成了其独特的编纂方式。他在治史的过程中始终坚持求真致用的学术宗旨,运用了多种体裁混搭的编纂模式以及文白杂糅的语言描述方式,延续了传统与时代相结合的研究之路。本文立足于原著,从史学史研究的角度出发,探讨李诚对历史地理学的研究内容、方法和特点,肯定其研究的学术价值和现实意义。Mr.Li Cheng,a scholar of Tongcheng School,devoted his life to education and academic research.Derived from the surging patriotism in the heart,the historical research results mainly laid stress on the military geography of historical geography.On the basis of inheriting the Tongcheng school′s emphasis on the collection and examination of historical materials and the characteristics of the late Qing historiographers which focused on humanistic pragmatism,Li Cheng′s research on historical geography combined Marxist historiography method and finally formed his unique compilation method.In the process of governing history,he always adhered to the academic tenet of seeking truth and applying it to practical use,adopted the compilation mode of mixed genres and the language description mode of mixed text and monologue,and continued the research road of combining tradition with the times.Based on the original work and from the perspective of historical studies,this paper discussed the content,methods and characteristics of Li Cheng′s research on historical geography,affirmed the academic value and practical significance of his research.
