摘　　要：本文是“现代性的意象”系列研究的第三部分。通过将“抽象”议题凝聚前文研究中对现代性十个术语的话语分析,本文聚焦讨论欧洲现代建筑“为什么”以及“如何”走向“抽象化”的历史机制,从而展开对“现代性的建筑意象”的高度综合。“抽象”在本文中不是一种艺术“风格”,而是一种现代性的“条件”。既是一种时间、空间、个人、社会、政治、经济、生产、消费、技术、艺术诸种要素被资本主义工具理性深层抽象化的过程,也是一种凝聚着多重矛盾性与复杂性的悖论的集合。通过观念、经济、技术、军事、结构五个层面的逐一分析与相互综合(后续研究还将讨论意识形态、控制论、城市化、禁欲主义、虚拟五个层面)。本文将对现代建筑抽象机制的历史运动与语言结果进行范式性的检视,并希望以建筑学科为例,再次折射与反思现代性的诸种辨证意象。This article is the third part of the series of "Images of Modernity". This article will condense the discourse analysis of the ten terms of modernity in the previous research through the agenda of "abstraction", focus on discussing the historical mechanism of the "why" and "how" the modern architecture moves towards "abstraction" in Europe, thereby expand macro integration the "architectural Image of modernity". "Abstraction" is a "condition" of modernity rather than an artistic "style" in this context. It’s not only a process in which elements such as time, space,individual, society, politics, economy, production, consumption, technology, and art are deeply abstracted by the capitalist instrumental rationality, but also an assemblage of paradoxes that composed of multiple contradictions and complexities.Through the individual analyzing and cross referencing within ten layers of concept, economy, technology, military, structure, ideology, cybernetics, urbanization, asceticism and virtualization, this article will conduct a paradigmatic inspection towards the historical movement and linguistic results of the mechanism of abstraction in modern architecture, while also expecting to reflect and rethink the various dialectical images of modernity through architecture as an example.
