“哭”字源流探析

摘　　要：围绕“哭”字字形演变,前贤大多有“形声说”“会意说”“会意兼形声说”和“同源说”四种说法。利用传世文献、出土文献和其他相关资料,对“哭”字字形、字音、字义三方面进行综合考察,总结分析前人观点,从而得出“哭”字应当是一个从犬、声的形声字。Around the evolution of the character shape of“ku(哭)”,the scholars have four main views:“the picto-phonetic character”,“the associative character,”“the associative and picto-phonetic character”and“the cognate character”.This paper uses handed-down documents,unearthed documents and other related materials to investigate the graphic form,pronunciation and semantic meaning of“ku”.It is concluded that the character“ku”should be a picto-phonetic character following the sound of“quan”.
