从言语交际意义解析话语误解层次--基于中、德新媒体交际的对比研究  

Four Levels of Misunderstanding from the Perspective of the Meaning of Verbal Communication:Based on a Comparative Analysis between Chinese and German Dialogues

摘  要:误解是言语交际过程中常见的现象,误解的出现标志着交际出现了问题,轻则阻碍交际进程,重则导致交际失败。对误解的研究有助于更全面地了解交际进程,从而指导如何更高效地进行言语交际。本文总结了前人对误解的研究成果与存在问题,依托西安外国语大学德语学院与德国明斯特大学共建的基于中、德新型主流社交媒体平台语料库,基于言语行为理论,提出言语交际意义概念;并依此对误解现象做了系统划分,认为误解可分为语音层面、命题层面、用意层面和暗含层面上的误解,同时从关联理论角度简要阐述了各个层面误解的认知原因。Misunderstanding is a common phenomenon in the process of verbal communication.It occurs between communicators when the meaning that a speaker conveys is incorrectly,incomprehensively or over-comprehensively understood by his or her partner.Linguists put their efforts in describing the sequential structure of misunderstanding;meanwhile they try to figure out linguistic elements that contribute to it.In this paper,traditional Speech Act Theory and Conversational Implicature Theory are combined to form a system of communicational meaning,under which misunderstandings can be described and summarized into four levels:utterance,proposition,intention,and implicature.Each of them will be illustrated by means of examples from the corpus of chats on new mainstream social media platforms:Wechat and What’s app,which are built by Xi’an International Studies University in China and University of Munster in Germany(Mocoda2).
