《天秤星座》:德里罗对美国例外论的批判与反思

摘　　要：美国小说家德里罗所创作的长篇小说《天秤星座》,选取美国总统肯尼迪遇刺一案作为写作背景,融入作家本人虚构的故事情节,同时,还借助其小说中的人物来讲述故事的形式进行创作,从中表现出作家对美国历史的一种反思,对后世有着深远的影响。因此,德里罗的《天秤星座》聚焦美国政治生活和普通民众的个体命运的探索,并将矛头直指所谓的美国例外论,进一步揭示其宣扬的政治理想与当时的社会现状存在极大的反差。Libra is written by American novelist Derrick.Its writing background is under the assassination of American President Kennedy and it is integrated into the fictional storyline of the writer.Through the description of the characters in this novel,the writer shows the reflection on American history.This novel has a profound influence on later generations.Therefore,Derrick's Libra focuses on the exploration of American political life and the individual destiny of ordinary people,and points the finger at the so-called American exception theory,which further reveals that there is a great contrast between his propaganda of political ideal and the present situation of society at that time.
