The problem of malnutrition in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)is raising more and more attention from clinical experts and researchers. At present, some studies have explored deeply about the mechanism of COPD malnutrition.Intestinal flora is the current popular research area, and the imbalance of intestinal flora has a significant impact on the nutritional status of the body.Cbl-b is closely related to inflammatory diseases caused by autoimmune imbalance, and it may play an important role in helping the balance of intestinal pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory bacteria. It has been reported that Cbl-b is closely related to skeletal muscle atrophy, indicating that it is related to the body's nutritional status, and COPD hypoxia also leads to skeletal muscle adaptive atrophy. This article summarizes the mechanism of COPD malnutrition, and reviews the relationship of intestinal flora as well as Cbl-b in COPD malnutrition.
