摘　　要：[目的/意义]本文对国外具有代表性的八种图书馆学期刊Journal of Documentation、College&Research Libraries、Library&Information Science Research、Journal of Librarianship and Information Science、Library Trends、The Library Quarterly、International Journal of Libraries and Information Studies、The Journal of Academic Librarianship进行了跟踪阅读,以求及时了解国外图书馆学研究现状与发展趋势,掌握学科研究的前沿与热点,为未来进一步研究提供思路。[方法/过程]系统梳理上述期刊2020年刊载的全部文章,分析归纳文章主题分布与研究前沿热点。[结果/结论]通过对上述期刊2020年刊载的417篇研究论文进行主题分析发现,文章主要涵盖基础理论、信息行为、信息资源建设、图书馆服务、知识管理、信息素养、学术出版、图书馆管理八个主题。研究热点包括基础理论研究、信息行为研究、知识管理研究、开放获取研究、图书馆服务、图书馆管理六个方面。研究前沿包括关注特殊群体的信息需求、重新审视文化遗产、图书馆员性别收入差异、图书馆与学生成功的关系四个方面。[Purpose/significance]Eight representative journals of library science abroad, including Journal of Documentation, College & Research Libraries, Library & Information Science Research, Journal of Librarianship and Information Science, Library Trends, The Library Quarterly, International Journal of Libraries and Information Studies and The Journal of Academic Librarianship, are carried out follow-up reading in order to understand the current situation and development trend of foreign library science research in a timely manner, grasp the frontiers and hotspots of subject research, and provide ideas for further research in the future. [Method/process]This paper systematically reviews all the articles of the above-mentioned journals in 2020, and systematically analyzes the distribution of article topics and research frontier hotspots. [Result/conclusion]Through subject analysis of 417 research papers published in the above-mentioned journals in 2020, it is found that the subject distribution of articles includes basic theory, information behavior, information resource construction, library services, knowledge management, information literacy, academic publishing and library management. Research hotspots include six aspects: basic theoretical research, information behavior, knowledge management, open access, library services and library management. The frontiers of research include four aspects: paying attention to the information needs of special groups, reexamining cultural heritage, gender income differences among librarians and the relationship between library and student success.
