摘  要:近年来,电力线通信(Power Line Communications, PLC)因基础设施完备、分布广、成本低等特性应用于广泛的区域。然而PLC自身不提供广域端到端连接,需要依靠现有电信网,故增加了运营成本,同时现有以太网系统还存在传输效率低下以及只针对话音优化等不足。如何低成本并高效率传输成为人们的迫切需求。虚级联技术使得同步光纤网络/数字体系(SONET/SDH)在数据流量传输中提供更精细的粒度;基于SDH/SONET的以太网(Ethernet over SDH/SONET,EoS)技术因其结构简单,能利用现有SONET/SDH脱颖而出。文中提出在同一系统中将EoS和虚级联技术结合,结果显示这样能够更高效利用带宽,并控制成本在合理的范围。Nowadays, Power Line communications(PLC) are using widely because of it’s advantages including, complete infrastructure, wide distribution and low price. However, PLC networks do not providevwide range end-to-end connectivity and need to rely on telecom networks which brings extra cost. The existing ethernet system has disadvantages of low efficiency and optimized for voice only, and so on. How to achieve high efficient transport with low cost has become the demands.Virtual concatenation is possible to provide fine granularity in the transport of data traffic over SONET/SDH. Ethernet which is based on SDH/SONET(EoS) works better by using current SONET/SDH since its simple structure. In this paper, with the combination of these two technologies(EoS and VC) in the same system will allow lower costs in a very simple and bandwidth efficient way.
