摘  要:《古今小说》以其通俗文学属性为笔者提出的中国文化“三段说”提供了有力证据。但就具体文学现象而言,帝王文化、士人文化、市民文化三者之间的界限又并非壁垒森严。作为明代拟话本小说的代表作,《古今小说》也是晚明时期市民文化大背景下融合雅俗两种文学观念的成功实践。面对《古今小说》所依据来自士人文化和市民文化两个方面的素材,冯梦龙一方面将市民文化中的庸俗部分剔除,并将其做雅化处理;另一方面,他又尽量淡化士人文化材料中的诘屈聱牙因素,体现其“适俗”的创作初衷。Feng Menglong’s San Yan,including Ancient and Modern Novels,provides strong evidence for the three-paragraph theory of Chinese culture proposed by the author with its popular literary attributes.However,as far as the specific literary phenomena are concerned,the boundaries among the imperial culture,scholar culture and citizen culture are not strict.As a representative work of the Ming Dynasty’s fictions,Ancient and Modern Novels is also a successful practice of integrating refined and popular literary concepts under the background of citizen culture in the late Ming Dynasty.Based on the materials both from the scholarly and the civic culture,Feng Menglong eliminated the vulgar part of the civic culture on the one hand and refined it;on the other hand,he tried to weaken the awkward factors in the cultural materials of scholars,reflect his original intention o“fit majority of people”.
