目加田诚《北平日记》的学术史价值

摘　　要：目加田诚(1904—1994)是日本中国文学研究领域的一流学者,然而中国国内研究界对其却鲜有关注。20世纪30年代目加田诚留学于北平期间的日记——《北平日记》直到2012年才被发现。该日记具有重要的学术史价值:通过它可以窥见日本汉学家的成长模式,凭借其首次披露的日本汉学家的资料和目加田诚与胡适、俞平伯、鲁迅、郁达夫等学界名人交往的经历,可以最大程度还原中日学术史的样貌,解锁有关的学术谜团。《北平日记》内容丰富、信息量大,有待中日学界根据各自的研究需要对其进行深入解读。Makoto Mekada(1904-1994)is a leading scholar in the field of Japanese and Chinese literature research,but little attention has been paid to him in the domestic research circle.The diary of Makoto Mekada,who was studying in Peking in the 1930s,was not discovered until 2012.It has important academic and historical value:through it,we can see the growth pattern of Japanese sinologists.With the earliest information about Japanese sinologists and the clips of the communication between Mekada and famous scholars such as Hu Shi,Yu Pingbo,Lu Xun and Yu Dafu,we can restore the academic history of China and Japan to the greatest extent and unlock the corresponding academic mysteries.The Peiping Diary is rich in content and information,which needs to be deeply interpreted by Chinese and Japanese scholars according to their own research needs.
