摘　　要：本研究整理出从第二次世界大战后期,美国政府颁布的一系列重要外语立法政策,尤其是美国外语教育政策对早期中文教育至当代中文教育的影响。从对包括中文在内的关键外语立法政策,可以看出美国的外语政策的立法取向作为语言政策的相关组成部分,正是该国文化外在的表现形式。自20世纪初开始,随着一系列美国重要外语教育政策的颁布推动了中文教育的发展。美国中文教育从被忽视到兴盛,再至现今中美关系日益紧张,美国中文教育再次陷入困境。美国作为全球中文教育大国,其中文教学资源亦极其丰富,贯穿整个美国基础教育阶段、高等教育阶段以及其他教育层次。This study sorts out a series of important foreign-language legislative policies promulgated by the US government since the later period of World War II,especially the impact of the US foreign-language education policy on early Chinese education and contemporary Chinese education.Judging from the legislative policies on key foreign languages,including Chinese,it can be seen that the legislative orientation of the foreign language policy in the United States,as a relevant component of the language policy,is the external manifestation of American culture.Since the beginning of the 20th century,the development of Chinese education has been driven by the promulgation of a series of important foreign-language education policies in the United States.From being neglected to prospering in the United States,Chinese language education in the United States has once again been in trouble because of the increasingly tense relations.As a major country of Chinese education in the world,the United States has extremely rich Chinese teaching resources,which run through the entire basic education stage,higher education stage and other educational levels of the United States.
