摘　　要：灵武市位于宁夏平原中部,地表出露地层有奥陶系、三叠系、侏罗系、白垩系、古近系和新近系,产无脊椎动物、鱼、恐龙、哺乳动物和植物等化石.笔者对该地主要化石产地产出的化石种类进行梳理,并对其科学价值和观赏价值进行评价.依据化石产出的完整性、珍惜性、观赏性、科研价值和知名度,划分化石保护等级,并规划国家级保护区2个、省级保护区2个、县级保护区4个,同时提出对灵武地区古生物化石进行保护的建议.Lingwu city is located in the middle of the Ningxia Plain,with surface outcropping strata of Ordovician,Triassic,Jurassic,Cretaceous,Palaeomorphic and Neoproterozoic,and fossils of invertebrates,fish,dinosaurs,mammals and plants.In this paper,the author sorts out the fossil species produced in the main fossil producing areas of the site and evaluates their scientific and ornamental value.They classify fossil conservation level,and plan two national,two provincial,and four county-level reserves according to the integrity,preciousness,ornamental,scientific research value and popularity of fossils,and at the same time,propose for the conservation of paleontological fossils in the Lingwu area.
