摘　　要：本文简要地说明了颐和园西门区域的现状。通过对中国传统文化、明清广场的规制以及对公园外广场的需求的分析,阐述了其设计理念及设计依据,并结合建筑学、园林设计学、环境心理学等学科,从园林风格、空间划分、建筑形式、道路铺装、植物配置等方面介绍了该广场及周边区域的具体改造方案;分析了广场设计实施中的难点及解决方案,规划设计中的缺点及不足,并从生态方面对该广场的设计提出了合理化建议。This paper briefly explained the current situation of the west gate area of the Summer Palace.Through the analysis on Chinese traditional culture,the regulation of Ming and Qing Dynasty’s squares,and the demand for the square out of the park,the design concept and design basis are explained combined with architecture,garden design,environmental psychology and other disciplines.The specific reconstruction plan of the square and surrounding areas is introduced from various aspects such as garden style,space division,architectural form,road paving,plant configuration,and so on.In addition,the difficulties and deficiencies in the implementation of the square design and the disadvantages and deficiencies in the planning and design were analyzed.The solutions and reasonable suggestions were provided for the design of the squire from the aspect of ecology.
