摘　　要：19世纪后期的英国,在马克思和恩格斯的影响下,许多英国知识分子和工人阶级活动家走上了社会主义道路。其中一些社会主义者和社会主义团体尝试着将马克思主义应用于英国的实际状况。恩格斯晚年与英国的许多社会主义者有着密切的交往,对他们进行了理论与实践的指导,为英国工人阶级政党的建立奠定了重要基础。费边社会主义是在吸收和借鉴马克思主义的基础上形成的。马克思主义对英国的社会主义始终有着重要的影响。In the late 19 th century,under the influence of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels,many British intellectuals and activists of working class embarked on the socialist road.Some of them tried to adapt Marxism into the actual situation of Britain.Engels had close contacts with many British socialists in his later years,and guided them in theory and practice,which laid an important foundation for the establishment of political parties of the British working class.Marxism played an important role in the making of Fabian socialism,and it had a great influence on the British socialism all the time.
