Research on Green Innovation,Trade Openness,and Economic Growth of Urban Agglomerations in the Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River

摘  要:根据2010—2018年长江中游城市群面板统计数据,利用面板单位根、协整以及格兰杰因果关系检验等方法分析绿色创新、贸易开放和经济增长之间的长期均衡和动态因果关系,结果表明:长江中游城市群绿色创新、贸易开放与经济增长之间存在长期均衡关系;绿色技术创新对经济增长和贸易开放均存在正向效应,但对经济增长的正向作用要大于贸易开放;绿色技术创新是贸易开放的格兰杰原因仅在长江中游城市群2个地级市存在;绿色技术创新是经济增长的格兰杰原因在6个地级市存在。因此,加强绿色技术生产研发投入、实施适度的环境规制政策将有利于促进长江中游城市群经济健康稳定发展。This paper analyzes the long-term equilibrium and dynamic causality relationship between green technology innovation,trade openness and economic growth by using panel data from the middle reaches of the Yangtze River between 2010 and 2018,using panel unit roots,cointegration,and Granger causality tests.The results show that:There is a long-term equilibrium relationship between green technological innovation,trade openness,and economic growth in urban agglomerations in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River;Green technological innovation has a positive effect on economic growth and foreign trade,but its positive effect on economic growth is greater than that of foreign trade;Green technology innovation is the Granger reason for trade opening in 2 prefecture-level cities in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River;green technology innovation is the Granger reason for economic growth in 6 prefecture-level cities.Therefore,strengthening green technology production R&D investment and implementing a moderate environmental regulation system will help promote the healthy and stable economic development of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River.
