摘　　要：Local dimming(区域背光调控)是改善被动发光的液晶显示器性能的重要技术。采用一套自主开发的仿真算法,在充分验证其准确性后,对液晶显示器的对比度和光晕指数随分区数的变化关系进行了计算仿真与分析,最终形成背光分区数设计指引。分析结果表明:对比度随分区数的增加而增加,RTINGS棋盘格图片最大价值点(导数为1的点)为300分区,要达到足够接近最大对比度,则需要1600分区左右;背光行列分区数为8的倍数时有更好的对比度体现;光晕指数与对比度随分区数变化的趋势相似,RTINGS十字架图片最大价值点(导数为1)为500分区。Local dimming is an important technology to improve the performance of passive liquid crystal display.In this paper,a selfdeveloped simulation algorithm is used to simulate and analyze the relationship between the contrast and the halo index of the liquid crystal display and the number of partitions after the accuracy is fully verified,a guidelines of local dimming backlight design is present.The results show that,the contrast increases with the increase of the number of partitions,the maximum value point(derivative 1)of the RTINGS checkerboard picture is 300 partitions,it needs about 1600 partitions to get close to the maximum contrast;the contrast is better when the ratio of the row and column of the backlight is 8;the variation trend of the halo index is similar to that of the contrast,the maximum value point(derivative is 1)of the RTINGS cross image is 500.
