摘  要:针对电子瓶颈导致信号载频受限问题,提出了基于双偏振双平行马赫增德尔调制器(DP-DPMZM)产生双频相位编码信号。DP-DPMZM受到微波信号调制和基带信号调制,产生可调谐光边带,检偏器完成检偏实现光边带选择,注入PD拍频分别产生载波4倍和2倍频或载波3倍频和基频的相位编码信号。采用偏振选择完成边带的抑制,拍频后在2个端口产生高低载频相位编码信号;采用一个集成调制器产生4种倍频系数的相位编码信号,信号的调制系数和载波可分别通过射频信号和基带信号调制。仿真中分别产生了调制速率2 Gb/s,载频为40,20 GHz和30,10 GHz的相位编码,并验证了产生信号的脉冲压缩性能。基于DP-DPMZM的双频信号产生方案结构简单,易于控制,具有良好的调谐性能,无光电滤波器使用,且高低载频信号分开输出,可实现可重构相位编码信号的产生。Aiming at the problem of signal carrier frequency is limited by electronic bottleneck,a new dual-band phase-coded waveform generation approach by using a single dual-polarization dual-parallel Mach-Zehnder modulator(DP-DPMZM)is proposed.In the approach,RF signal and baseband signal are employed to drive the DP-DPMZM to generate flexible optical sidebands,which are injected into polarizer to conduct sidebands selection.After square-law detection in photodetector,frequency-quadrupling and frequency doubling or frequency-tripling and frequency-fundamental phase-coded signals will be generated.The sideband suppression is performed by using polarization selection.The high and low carrier frequency is obtained in the two output ports respectively after beat frequency.The proposed approach employs an integrated modulator to generate phase coded signals with four kinds of frequency multiplication factors.The carrier frequency of the generated signal can be tuned by the RF signal,and the bit rate can be adjusted by the baseband signal.The proposed approach is verified by simulations.2 Gb/s phase-coded signals with carrier frequencies of 40,20 GHz or 30,10 GHz are generated in the simulation.The pulse compression performances of the generated signal are verified by auto-correlations.The proposed approach features the advantages of simply structure,good tuning ability,filter-free and separated outputs,which has potential application in modern radar system.
