摘　　要：经济与社会发展必然会促进城镇化的进程,而城镇化是工业化和现代化发展的必然结果,城镇化发展水平已成为促进一个地区经济发展的重要因素。本文从三个不同的角度分析宁夏城镇化的发展水平,并在大量统计数据和已有研究成果的基础上,采用因子分析法揭示了宁夏城镇化发展的特点。研究结果表明:宁夏城镇化发展水平较高的是银川市,发展水平一般的是石嘴山市,发展水平较低的是吴忠市、中卫市和固原市。选取指标和提取公因子对城镇化发展水平有较强的解释能力,说明社会经济文化发展水平与城镇化发展水平具有高度的正相关性,这也是导致宁夏五市城镇化发展水平相差较大的原因。Economic and social development will inevitably promote the process of urbanization,and urbanization is the inevitable result of industrialization and modernization development.The level of urbanization development has become an important factor to promote the economic development of a region.This paper analyzes the development level of urbanization in Ningxia from three different angles,and based on a large number of statistical data and existing research results,uses factor analysis method to reveal the characteristics of urbanization development in Ningxia.The results show that Yinchuan City has a high level of urbanization development,Shizuishan City has a general level of development,and Wuzhong City,Zhongwei City and Guyuan City have a low level of development.The selection of indicators and extraction of common factors have a strong ability to explain the level of urbanization development,indicating that the level of social economic and cultural development is highly positively correlated with the level of urbanization development,which is also the reason for the large difference in the level of urbanization development in the five cities of Ningxia.
