摘　　要：文章是对英语单一字母Jj进行专题研究的首次尝试,作者对该字母的历史渊源和象形意义作了深入的探讨,为英语单词字母象形教学法的研究提供一些有益的素材。This paper makes the first attempt on the special study on English letter Jj.It elaborates the results of the author’s research on the historical origin and pictographic meanings of the English letter Jj,which provides some meaningful source materials for the research into the teaching methodology of using the pictographic meanings of the English letters.
