摘　　要：1935年8月,被北平市政府驱逐出境的评剧名伶白玉霜来到上海演出。白玉霜以舞台上精湛的技艺和舞台下恬静的姿态,受到了上海观众的欢迎,带动了上海评剧演出的繁荣。她不但逐渐融入上海主流社会,而且受到戏剧家洪深和欧阳予倩的赏识。白玉霜的支持者更是积极运作,策划为其投拍电影。1936年,由白玉霜主演的电影《海棠红》开拍,并成功上映。白玉霜由此成了民国时期最具知名度的评剧艺人。In August 1935,the famous Ping Opera actress Bai Yushuang,who had been expelled by the Beiping Municipal Government,moved to Shanghai,where she began to perform.BAI Yushuang was welcomed by Shanghai audiences due to her superb skills on stage and her quiet posture off stage,which drove the prosperity of Shanghai Ping Opera performances.Bai Yushuang not only gradually blended into the mainstream society of Shanghai,but was also appreciated by dramatists Hong Shen and Ouyang Yuqian.Some of Bai's supporters were even more active,as they planned to cast her in movies.Shooting of the film The Red Crabapple,starring Bai Yushuang,began in 1936 and was thereafter successfully released.Bai Yushuang thus became the most well-known Ping Opera actress during the Republic of China.
