摘　　要：城市是一个区域的生产和消费中心,同时也是产业发展的集中地,作为城镇化的重要载体,城市的发展对于持续推进城镇化具有重要意义。我国幅员辽阔,城市群和都市圈的范围有限,多数地区仍处于城市群和都市圈以外,推动我国区域协调发展,除了要重视城市群、都市圈的发展,更要重视城市,尤其是区域性中心城市的发展。把握城市人口空间分布的一般规律,构建合理的城市规模分布体系;加强区域性中心城市的建设,要从基础设施、产业布局、城市布局、政府管理等方面着手,提升区域性中心城市的功能,发挥城市的辐射带动作用,形成能够带动周边地区尤其是农村地区发展的核心功能区。A city is the production and consumption center of a region,as well as the concentration of industrial development.As an important carrier of urbanization,the development of cities is of great significance to continuously promote urbanization.China has a vast territory,but the range of urban agglomeration and metropolitan circle is limited,and most areas are still outside the urban agglomeration and metropolitan circle.To promote the coordinated development of regions in China,we should pay more attention to the development of cities,especially regional central cities,in addition to the development of city clusters and metropolitan areas.We should better grasp the general law of urban population spatial distribution,build a reasonable urban scale distribution system,and strengthen the construction of regional central cities.At the same time,we should also improve the function of regional central cities in terms of infrastructure,industrial layout,urban layout and government management,give full play to the radiating and driving role of cities,and form core functional areas that can promote the development of surrounding areas,especially rural areas.
