摘　　要：地理PDF地图是近十几年来出现的一种新型地图产品形式,本文分析了地理PDF地图构成要素,对地理PDF地图制图主要方法和主要应用模式进行了归纳和分类,总结了地理PDF地图产品的主要特点,总结了地理PDF地图产品在地图生产和管理、电子地图快速应急保障以及非地图制图专业领域的应用前景,以期推动地理PDF地图在我国的广泛生产与应用。Geographic PDF map is a new form of map product appearing in recent ten years.This paper analyzes the ele-ments of geospatial PDF map,classifies mapping methods and application modes,and summarizes main characteristics of geospa-tial PDF map products.Finally,the production and management of geospatial PDF map,the electronic map emergency support and the application prospects in non-cartographic fields are summarized,which will promote the wide application of geospatial PDF map in our country.
