摘　　要：Multifaceted asymmetric radiation from the edges(MARFEs)are studied on the basis of radiative condensation instability.The role of medium-Z impurity radiation and its association with the soft density limit are examined.A rigid poloidal rotation has been introduced which shows a bifurcation in the development of MARFE instability.
