摘　　要：本文从上海及其地方戏——沪剧之间的关系入手,意在探讨近代城市社会与当地戏曲文化之间的关系。关于近代上海社会,前人已有太多研究。但从戏曲与市民生活的关系进行探微并不多见。本文以20世纪20-40年代为背景,概述沪剧的起源及其深入都市的过程;继而从形式和内容两方面探讨这一时期沪剧在市民社会中的接受程度。希望通过本文研究,开启一个对上海这座城市新的观察角度。This paper intends to explore the relationship between modern urban society and local opera culture by studying the relationship between Shanghai and its local opera—Shanghai Opera.There have been numerous previous studies on modern Shanghai society.However,little research is made on the relationship between opera and public life.This paper briefly reviews the origin of Shanghai Opera and its penetration in urban life in the 1920 s to 1940 s and then discusses the social acceptance of Shanghai Opera during this period from the two perspectives of formsand contents,initiating a new angle to view the city of Shanghai.
