The paper takes the Meijiang watershed as the research area, based on the SWAT model,a nitrogen and phosphorus pollution load model suitable for the watershed was constructed, and the characteristics of the temporal and spatial distribution of nitrogen and phosphorus nutrient output in the watershed under the influence of agricultural fertilization were simulated and analyzed, providing a useful reference for nutrient pollution control and comprehensive management in the basin. The results showed that:1)The increase in the output of nitrogen and phosphorus nutrients in the study area is related to the application of agricultural fertilizers. In terms of time changes, the output of total nitrogen and total phosphorus in the basin increased by 99.33 mg/L and 17.64 mg/L respectively in 2011.The increase in total nitrogen and total phosphorus load output was mainly concentrated in April to August. They accounted for 87.3%and 68.5%of the annual total output respectively;2)In terms of spatial distribution, the spatial distribution characteristics of total nitrogen and total phosphorus pollution load changes are basically the same, and they are concentrated in the central and northern parts of the study area.
