摘　　要：新中国纪念性雕塑与主题性创作是新中国雕塑史的重要主体,也是20世纪中国美术史的重要组成部分。纪念性雕塑与主题性创作反映了新中国雕塑家在中国共产党的文艺思想、政策与方针的指导下,自觉地将雕塑艺术的发展与新中国的社会主义建设和表现工农兵相结合,同时,以雕塑的形象建构20世纪中国共产党领导中国人民争取民族解放,建设伟大祖国的光辉历程。本文梳理了新中国纪念性雕塑和主题性创作的发展历程、重要的雕塑家和代表性的作品,讨论了新中国纪念性雕塑和主题性创作的一些基本问题,勾勒了新中国纪念性雕塑和主题性创作的基本轮廓,认为纪念性雕塑和主题性创作是建构国家记忆,展现民族精神的重要方式。A significant subject in the history of sculptures in the New China and a crucial part of Chinese art history in the 1900s,monumental sculptures and themed art works have been a reflection of sculptors’willingness,with the guidance of CPC’s ideology,policies and principles,to integrate the socialist progress in the New China and the presence of workers,peasants and soldiers into the progress of sculpture art.Meanwhile,sculptors in the New China depicted with sculptures the glorious endeavors of the CPC in leading the Chinese people to acquire national independence and rejuvenate the country in the 20th century.This research summarizes the milestones,key figures and representative works of monumental sculptures and themed art works in the New China,discusses basic issues under this topic,and outlines its fundamentals.The author proposes that monumental sculptures and themed art works are critical approaches to constructing national memories and demonstrating national spirits.
