摘　　要：The last 50 years have witnessed tremendous changes in both research and publication practices within the context of an increasingly market-oriented higher education system.“The period has also witnessed the growth of collaboration and multiple authorship;the expansion of access to a massive online literature and the fragmentation and specialization of research”(p.xiii).All these changes have exerted significant impact on discursive practices and the way academics write.
