中西方传统文化中活力思想探究

摘　　要：中西方各异的文化背景与哲学根基造就了不同的活力思想。在西方文化中,活力思想主要依托“主客二分”的哲学思维模式,从关注自然界的物质特性活力,到神学中精神代表的活力,再到社会生活中人的活力,将人的主体能动性看作活力的重要内涵。在中国文化中,活力思想主要依托“天人合一”的思维模式,强调人与自然的和谐统一,一方面鼓励积极进取,刚健有为,勇于超越,有兼善天下的理想;另一方面强调顺应与适应,坚守“善”与“和为贵”的首要原则。不过,中西方文化中均认为活力的基本涵义是生命力,生命力是世界万物存活、延续、更新、发展的基础与前提。The different cultural backgrounds and philosophical foundations of China and the West have created different thoughts of vitality.In Western culture,the thought of vitality mainly relies on the philosophical thinking mode based on subject-object dichotomy with the focus from the vitality of the material characteristics of nature to the vitality of the spiritual representation in theology and then to the vitality of people in social life.And it regards human subjective initiative as an important connotation of vitality.In the traditional culture of China,the thought of vitality is mainly based on the thinking mode of harmony between man and nature,emphasizing the harmonious unity between man and nature.On the one hand,the spirits of being positive and enterprising,brave and promising are encouraged and people are supposed to have the courage to transcendand the ideal of promoting the social welfare.On the other hand,it emphasizes adaptability and adaptation,and adhering to the principle of“goodness”and“harmony”.However,It is believed in both Chinese and Western cultures that the essentiality of vitality is the power of life,which is the basis and premise for the survival,continuation,renewal and development of all things in the world.
