《藻海无边》中欧洲裔白人的心理异化

摘　　要：后殖民评论者们侧重以英殖民文化的主导性影响来判定《藻海无边》中西印度非裔所经历的心理异化,却弱化了《藻海无边》折射出的欧洲裔白人所遭受的心理异化。文章聚焦于《藻海无边》中两位欧洲裔白人男性人物的心理异化,藉此管窥西印度社会变迁带给英国白人家庭生活与文化心理的冲击,剖析西印度非裔族群文化对于英国白人的反噬性影响,进而揭示西印度地区白人想象性建构世界的坍塌。Postcolonial critics foreground the influences of colonial culture upon West Indian blacks in Wide Sargasso Sea,but background the counter-influences of West Indian blacks upon the whites in West Indian society.This paper highlights the whites’alienation by focusing on two white men,Mr.Mason and Rochester in Wide Sargasso Sea,so as to expose the impacts of West Indian society upon the whites,uncover the counter-influences of West Indian blacks upon the whites and reveal a collapsed and imaginary white-centered world in West Indian society.
