中国学人对美国文学史编写的思考

摘　　要：第一次世界大战以来,美国出版了五部代表性的美国文学史著作,总结归纳了美国文学的发展、壮大过程,反映了不同时代美国主流思潮对文学史编写的影响,以及编撰者对美国文学、美国文化及美国历史的认识。改革开放以来,中国学人十分关注美国学界的美国文学史编写,聚焦其编写理念的变化,尝试为中国的美国文学教学与研究服务、为中国学界编写自己的美国文学史提供有益的参考。Five representative editions of history of American literature have come out since World War I.They have summarized the growth and development of American literature,and made the impact of the main currents of American thoughts on the editions of history of American literature in different periods of time known to the world,which embodies the varied epistemology of the editor in chief to American literature,culture and history.Chinese scholars have paid close attention to different editions of history of American literature since China’s reform and opening up to the world.They have traced the changes of their ideals in editing,and tried to serve well for the teaching and research of American literature in China,and provided the fruitful reference to Chinese academia in editing our own versions of history of American literature.
