摘　　要：EOTDR(embedded Optical Time Domain Reflectometer,嵌入式光时域反射仪)是利用光线在光纤中传输时的散射而制成的精密仪表,在实践应用中,该仪表主要用于光纤的质量检测及故障定位等方面。结合一线维护人员在日常网络优化、故障处理、线路维护等方面的工作经验,文章基于EOTDR技术,初步探索了现代通信网络维护中光缆在线监测功能的应用特征和应用场景。文章的目的在于,借用EOTDR技术全面提高维护效率,解决网络安全隐患,为维护人员提供一种维护手段和优化方案。EOTDR(Embedded Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) is a precision instrument based on the scattering of light during transmission in Optical fiber.In practical application,the instrument is mainly used for quality detection and fault location of Optical fiber.Combined with the experience of front-line maintenance personnel in daily network optimization,fault handling,line maintenance and other aspects,this paper,based on EOTDR technology,preliminarily explored the application characteristics and application scenarios of optical cable online monitoring function in modern communication network maintenance.The purpose of this paper is to use EOTDR technology to comprehensively improve the maintenance efficiency,solve the network security hidden trouble,and provide a maintenance means and optimization scheme for the maintenance personnel.
