双向解构的“意义”与“非意义”——《天秤星座》中的记忆后世俗化

摘　　要：《天秤星座》以双叙事线交错演进的独特讲述方式呈现了美国民众重构"肯尼迪遇刺事件"记忆的两大模态——阴谋论与星相说。在激活深嵌其中的自我解构基因后,德里罗揭开了为两大记忆重构模态共享的妄想迫害病原并证实了二者在治愈历史创伤方面的机能性障碍及由此所致的最终失效。同时,通过对作品中女性人物打理家务和为人处世等几方面细节的微妙刻画,德里罗为"刺杀记忆"重构模态的救赎性升级开辟了一条以首肯与感恩人生平凡性与神圣性为要义的后世俗主义路径。Libra fulfills its artistic rendition of the two main modules the American public tends to employ in reconstructing their memory of"The Kennedy Assassination,"conspiracy theory and astrology,by telling the story with a narrative pattern that features two alternating plotlines.Having set off the deconstructing factors inherent in these two plotlines,De Lillo diagnoses both the two memory reconstruction modules as syndromes of the pathogeny paranoid by nature,and validates their dysfunction and resulting inefficacy in curing the historical trauma inflicted by the Assassination.More importantly,with his rather nuanced delineation of the women characters’execution of household duties and outlook on life,De Lillo has prescribed a postsecular approach to the redemptive overhauling of the Assassination-memory reconstruction modules,whose purport consists in one’s approval of and gratitude to an ordinary human life for both its mediocrity and sanctity.
