一流本科教育的建设理路——南洋理工大学的启示

摘　　要：新加坡南洋理工大学作为一所建校三十余年的后发型大学,在短时间内快速崛起成为亚洲乃至世界一流大学,其成功离不开对本科教育的高度重视。南洋理工大学本科教育的特色体现在:基于“5C精神”的博雅人才培养目标;通识与专业兼顾的多样化课程体系;以“翻转课堂”为特色的卓越教学改革;植根产业需求的校企合作共育;聚焦跨学科创新的本科生研究计划;全方位多层次的创业教育体系;凸显全球视野的国际化战略。南洋理工大学的成功经验对我国建设一流本科教育具有重要启示:全人发展的育人理念是一流本科教育的前提基础;追求卓越的教学文化是一流本科教育的核心内涵;跨学科的课程整合是一流本科教育的显著特色;国际视野的文化共融是一流本科教育的必然趋势。Established for more than 30 years,Nanyang Technological University in Singapore,as a newly-formed university,has become a first-class university in Asia and even in the world in a very short time.Its success would not be possible without attaching importance to undergraduate education.The characteristics of undergraduate education in Nanyang Technological University are as follows:cultivating liberal arts talents based on the“5C spirit”;diversified curriculum system with both general education and specialty;remarkable teaching reform featuring“flipped classroom”;school-enterprise cooperation and co-education rooted in industrial needs;undergraduate research projects focusing on interdisciplinary innovation;an all-round multi-level entrepreneurship education system;internationalization strategy highlighting global vision.Its success is of great reference value to the construction of first-class undergraduate education in China:the concept of educating people with all-round development is the premise and foundation of first-class undergraduate education;pursuing distinguished teaching culture is the core connotation of first-class undergraduate education;interdisciplinary curriculum integration is a prominent feature of first-class undergraduate education;cultural inclusion from an international perspective is an irresistible trend of first-class undergraduate education.
