摘　　要：现代医学模式已经从生物医学模式转变为生物-心理-社会医学模式。口腔正畸学是近年来发展较快的一门新兴学科,作为临床口腔科学的分支学科,其具有自然科学的一般特点,但较之其他临床学科具有更多的人文色彩。口腔正畸学的研究内容及学科发展与社会背景、经济发展、个体认知、性格特点、心理学等人文社科类知识息息相关。文章就正畸学的整个学科内容,从学科的研究对象、流行病学特征、基础学科、诊断、治疗及保持等多个方面的特点来简要阐述其人文特征,以期为相关专业人员及广大患者提供有意义的思考,促进本学科更加健康更加理性地发展。The modern medical model has changed from the biomedical model to the bio-psycho-social medical model.Orthodontics is an emerging discipline developed rapidly in recent years.As a branch of clinical oral science,orthodontics has the general characteristics of natural science,However,it has more social and humanistic characteristics than other clinical disciplines.The research content and discipline development of orthodontics are closely related to the knowledge of humanities and social sciences such as social background,economic development,individual cognition,personality characteristics,psychology and so on.This paper briefly describe the social and humanistic features on the whole subject content of the orthodontics,from the object,the epidemiological characteristics,related basic disciplines,diagnosis,treatment and retention,et al.The multiple characteristic of orthodontic make the orthodontist and patients to consider and promote the healthy and rational development of the discipline.
