对外直接投资促进了中国经济增长方式转型吗?--基于广义矩估计的实证分析

摘　　要：对外直接投资(OFDI)对经济增长方式转型有重要影响。提出对外直接投资通过逆向技术溢出效应和产业结构升级效应两种渠道促进经济增长方式转型这一假说,然后以经济增长集约化为经济增长方式转型的表征,采用广义矩估计(GMM)方法对该假说进行验证。结果表明:对外直接投资显著提高了我国经济增长集约化水平,但效应发挥存在时滞;人力资本、产业结构升级均与对外直接投资之间存在良性互动机制,二者是对外直接投资促进经济增长集约化的重要影响因素。最后,提出了鼓励对外直接投资、提高人力资本水平以及推动产业结构升级等促进经济增长集约化的政策建议。Outward foreign direct investment(OFDI)has significant impacts on the economic growth mode.This paper proposes the hypothesis that OFDI promotes the transformation of economic growth mode through two channels,which are reverse technology spillover effect and industrial structure upgrading effect.The economic growth intensification level is taken as the indicator of the transformation of economic growth mode,and the GMM method is used to verify the hypothesis.The results show that OFDI has significantly improved China’s economic growth intensification level,but there is a time lag effect.There is a positive interaction between OFDI and human capital as well as industrial structure upgrading,which are influencing factors for OFDI to promote the economic growth intensification.Lastly,this paper suggests to encourage outward foreign direct investment,raising the level of human capital,and promoting the upgrading of industrial structure.
