摘　　要：探讨了詹天佑幼年立志、追求理想、奋发图强、报效祖国,善于学习和运用国际先进科学知识,努力践行洋为中用、科技救国及其为官之道的爱国情怀与民族精神。研究表明,在其位高权重负责京张铁路等的修建及其毕生事业中,坚守廉洁奉公、不谋私利、不贪不腐、一心为国,闪耀着许多感人至深、影响深远的中华民族崛起光芒。Through literature collection and qualitative research, this paper studies Zhan Tianyou’s patriotism and national spirit in his childhood and life-long career. The research shows that Zhan, in his high position and weight, adhered to the principles of honesty, unselfishness, non-corruption and wholeheartedness for the country, which sparked many touching and far-reaching light of the rise of the Chinese nation. Under the background of globalization and the new era, in the tide of rejuvenating the country through science and technology and combating corruption, Zhan’s spirits are worthy of learning and praising by the whole society.
