深切缅怀地理学家徐樵利教授

摘　　要：徐樵利教授是中国地理学界的知名学者,在综合自然地理学、山地地理系统和国土空间规划三大研究领域做出了突出贡献,可谓综合自然地理应用研究的积极践行者,山地地理系统研究领域的重要创新者,中国国土空间规划早期研究的突出贡献者,毕生辛勤耕耘在地理学科的教学、科研园地,致力把文章写在祖国的大地上,为湖北的山区建设做出了杰出贡献,其科学研究与学科建设的诸多事迹令人缅怀。徐樵利先生的去世是中国地理学界的重大损失。Professor Xu Qiaoli was a well-known scholar in China’s geography academic study,and made great contributions to the research of the integrated physical geography,mountain geographical system and national land space planning.He was a practitioner of the applied study of the comprehensive physical geography,an important innovator of the mountain geography system research,and an outstanding contributor in the early stage of Chinese national spatial planning,He devoted his whole life to the geography teaching and scientific research,devoted himself to writing articles on the subject of earth,and made outstanding contributions to the construction of mountainous areas in Hubei province.Many deeds of his scientific research and discipline construction are memorable.The death of Mr.Xu Qiaoli is a great loss to Chinese geography academic field.
