摘 要:在新一轮科技革命和产业变革加速演进的背景下,数字化转型为增强我国制造业综合竞争力提供了重要路径。基于2003—2015年我国出口产品与制造业细分行业匹配数据,利用双重差分法系统评估了数字化转型对制造业出口技术复杂度的影响及其机制。实证结果表明:数字化转型显著提高了我国制造业出口技术复杂度;异质性检验发现数字化转型对规模更小、融资约束更强的制造业出口技术复杂度具有更明显的促进作用;进一步机制研究表明,数字化转型通过扩大本地市场规模和对新产品进行赋能,从而提高制造业出口技术复杂度;相较于对上游产业的促进作用,数字化转型会显著抑制下游产业的出口技术复杂度。该研究结论为我国制造业发挥数字化优势、推动对新产品赋能和规避产业链上过度竞争风险以实现我国制造业高质量发展提供了理论依据支撑。Under the background of the new round of scientific and technological revolution and the accelerated evolution of industrial change, digital transformation provides an important way to enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of China’s manufacturing industry.Based on the matching data of China’s exports and manufacturing industry segments from 2003 to 2015,this paper uses a difference in difference method to systematically evaluate the impact of digital transformation on the technological complexity of manufacturing exports and its mechanism.The empirical results show that the digital transformation significantly improves the technical complexity of China’s manufacturing export;The heterogeneity test shows that the digital transformation has a more obvious promoting effect on the technological complexity of the manufacturing export with the smaller scale and stronger financing constraints.Further mechanism research shows that digital transformation can improve the technical complexity of manufacturing export by expanding the scale of local market and adding extra values to new products.Compared with the promotion effect on the upstream industry, the digital transformation will significantly inhibit the export technological complexity of the downstream industry.The conclusion of this study provides theoretical basis for the realization of high-quality development of China’s manufacturing industry by giving full play to digital advantages, promoting the extra value addition to new products and avoiding the risk of excessive competition in the industrial chain.
