摘  要:《中图法》第五版在主表中设置的“教材”类目,与文献分类法中基本类目体系要以科学分类为基础的原则不统一,教材也不构成学科体系的组成要素,因而不必作为专论性类目来设置。教材是对出版物的功能性说明,在主题标引上属于副标题,应依附于学科主题。基础教育的教材实质上是课程学习的蓝本,而课程学习则是学生对各门学科的全面掌握和融会贯通,故课程学习是基础教育中各门学科的统领,而各门学科实质上就是教科书;专业教育中的“教材”,强调的是专业学习,“专业知识”与“专业教材”没有本质上的区别,原则上不必对专业教材进行区分。The category of“teaching material”setting in the main table of the fifth Edition of Chinese Library Classification is not consistent with the principle that the basic category system of literature classification should be based on scientific classification,and the teaching material does not constitute the component elements of the subject system,therefore it does not need to be set as a monograph category.The teaching material is the functional description of the publication,which belongs to the subtitle in the subject indexing and should be attached to the subject.The teaching material of basic education is essentially the blueprint of course learning,and course learning plays a guide role in basic education,because students acquire a comprehensive mastery of all subjects through course study.Each subject is essentially the teaching material,the“teaching material”in professional education emphasizes professional learning,and there is no essential difference between“professional knowledge”and“professional teaching material”,as a result,it is not necessary to distinguish the professional teaching materials in principle.
