摘　　要：鸱吻是中国古代建筑符号中使用范围最广泛的一种建筑符号,它的演变过程不仅局限于建筑学、符号学范畴,还一定程度上反映了当时社会的政治文化、宗教文化等。通过比较分析、案例分析等主要研究方法,从建筑装饰符号的角度出发,以时间顺序为起点对中国古代建筑鸱吻符号的文化渊源、历史沿革、功能特征等进行分析,并着重对明清鸱吻符号的形态、构件进行研究。对明清时期鸱吻的样式进行梳理总结,以及其设计语言的来源进行探究,对明清鸱吻的样式有更深刻清晰的梳理。The article analyzes the cultural origin,historical evolution,and functional characteristics of roof ridge ornaments of an⁃cient Chinese architecture,and focuses on the study of the form and components of roof ridge ornaments of Ming and Qing Dynas⁃ties.A summary of the style of roof ridge ornaments in Ming and Qing dynasties,as well as the source of its design language,will give a deeper and clearer combing of the style of roof ridge ornaments in Ming and Qing Dynasties.
