摘 要:隋代陆法言编纂的《切韵》是一部集前代韵书之大成的著作。问世后,“时俗共重,以为典规”。《切韵》的编纂宗旨是“广文路”“赏知音”,其要义在于“正音”。鉴于前代韵书“各有乖互”,陆氏确立了“捃选精切,除削踈缓”的编纂原则。《切韵》语料来源极广,涉及诸家韵书、古今字书和“以前所记”。陆氏秉持“剖析毫厘,分别黍累”的编纂方法论,对诸家分韵不同者,遵循“从分不从合”的原则,兼而采之。《切韵》重在释音,兼及释义,其释义以“于文从简”“务求精要”为旨归。《切韵》影响长达千年之久,对其进行刊谬、补缺、加字、加训,成为此后韵书编纂的主流,由此形成的“《切韵》系”韵书因时而化,绵延不绝,蔚然大观。On the Tones compiled by Lu Fa-yan of the Sui Dynasty was an agglomeration of previous achievements.At its publication,it was applauded as a classic that studies both the current affairs and common practices.The objective of its compilation was to broaden the essay origin and to appreciate prevailing tones,its purpose being to make tone corrections.Considering the fact that previous publications in this area each had their own merits and deviations,Lu,the compiler,set as his guiding principle“meticulous selection neglecting those poor quality materials”.On the Tones collected its materials from an extremely wide variety of linguistic data involving tone publications of different ancient and contemporary scholars and the notes previously taken.Lu stuck to the methodology of precise analysis and meticulous categorization,giving separate entries for the different tones by different scholars,the principle of“making divisions instead of integration”being adhered to.On the Tones emphasizes tone depiction with attention paid to paraphrasing,the latter following the guideline of terseness and conciseness with the text.On the Tones extends its influence for over a thousand years,making corrections,completions,additions,and explanations to it having becoming a popular practice in later compilations of tone monographs,the“On the Tones”series arising out of this bearing their long-lasting impact for their rigorousness and elasticity.
