摘　　要：随着城镇化进程的加快,大量农民涌入城市谋求生存,成为城市新型劳动大军,为城市建设、社会发展和时代进步作出了巨大贡献。但其在身份转型中遇到了社会规范文化意识不强、自身文化与城市文化相互独立、价值体系不一致、文化素质存在差异等文化认同障碍。公共图书馆作为公共文化服务体系的重要机构,应在其身份转型过程中给予足够的关注并以以下现实路径助力其完成转型:提供文化资源保障,夯实文化基础;深化文化教育职能,提高文化素质;发挥文化传播作用,消除文化偏见。As urbanization accelerates,a large number of farmers have poured into cities to make a living.They have,therefore,become a major driver for the development of urban areas,making a great contribution to the progress of society.However,those migrant workers have faced series of problems in rediscovering their identity for they don’t understand social norms,their values,cultural and educational backgrounds are different from those of urban residents.Public libraries,important institutes to provide public cultural services,must cater to and facilitate the migrant workers’identity transformation.They should provide cultural resources to consolidate the workers’cultural foundation,stay committed to their education function to make the workers more educated,and better serve as a cultural promoter to eradicate cultural discrimination.
