摘　　要：近代以来,西方国家的意识形态和政治制度都是以自由主义为基础的自由民主主义及其相应的民主体制。自由主义根植于西方文化,在资本主义发展过程中发挥了重要的作用。但近30年来,以美国为代表的西方国家发生了严重的社会分裂、收入差距扩大,自由主义出现了快速衰弱的趋势。本文基于这一重要现象,从发展脉络上对自由主义与民主主义的核心假设、理论体系、各流派的演变,特别是它们存在的内在矛盾展开分析。在此基础上把关注点放在共同体民主制上面,并由此引出和转向对儒家民主主义的分析。笔者认为儒家民主主义的复兴在当今人类社会具有重要价值。现代儒家政治理论的发展也是建构非西欧社会科学的重要环节。Since modern times,the ideology and political system of western countries have been liberal democracy based on liberalism and its corresponding democratic system.Liberalism rooted in Western culture has played an important role in the development of capitalism.However,in the past 30 years or so,Western countries represented by the United States have experienced severe social divisions,widening income gaps,and rapid decline in liberalism.Based on this important phenomenon in today's world,this article analyzes the core assumptions,theoretical systems,and the evolution of various schools of liberalism and democracy from the context of development,especially their inherent contradictions.On this basis,the focus is on community democracy,and this leads to and turns to the analysis of Confucian democracy.It is believed that the revival of Confucian democracy is of great value in today's human society.The development of modern Confucian political theory is also an important part of the construction of non-Western European social sciences.
