摘　　要：Ma Jun could hardly find time to sit for an interview,but seldom passed on a chance to spread the word on environmental protection.As a prominent environmental advocate and founder of the non-profit environmental organization the Institute of Public and Environmental Affairs(IPE),Ma’s schedule became even more hectic when China announced its roadmap to peak carbon dioxide emissions before 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality before 2060.Ma found a half hour during a lunch break to talk on the phone,and he expressed confidence in the future of environmental protection in China.
