摘　　要：叶宪祖是明代万历年间越中戏曲作家群中的重要成员,作有6种传奇和24种杂剧。在剧作内容上,描写男女爱情、抨击社会黑暗、宣扬佛法;在艺术形式上,严守音律,语言本色自然,对杂剧的艺术体制作了创新。叶宪祖的戏曲创作不仅对当时的戏曲作家产生了影响,而且其剧作在今天的戏曲舞台上仍有演出。Ye Xianzu was a representative of the playwrights of the central Yue area during the Wanli Emperor's reign in the Ming dynasty.His 6 chuanqis and 24 zajus,themed on romantic love,social critique,and Buddhism,are musical in nature and natural in language,an innovation of the artistic form of zaju.Ye's Chinese operas not only impacted the playwrights of the day but also are popular on stage today.
