摘  要:《万有文库》是商务印书馆王云五策划编纂的一部大型丛书,它畅行于世有着天时地利人和等诸多历史合力的作用。中国近代社会教育事业的勃兴是《万有文库》畅销的时代语境,“将整个的普通图书馆用书贡献于社会”的出版动机是《万有文库》赢得市场的密匙,而各级政府的购置训令则让《万有文库》畅销巧借东风。The Library of All Books is a large series of books planned and compiled by Wang Yunwu of the Commercial Press.It enjoyed the effect of many historical forces such as favorable time,geographical location and people.The flourishing of education in modern society of China is the context of times for the best-selling of Library of All Books.The publishing motive of“contributing the whole common library books to society”is the password for Library of All Books to win the market,and the instruction of governments at all levels helps Library of All Books to sell well.
